| This year the Center for Photographic Art is combining its Juried Exhibition and Fundraising Auction into one extended event.
Here’s how it works: In order to enter you'll need to send in a CD with a completed PDF entry form and your jpeg image files on it. The juror will choose the images to hang in the Juried Exhibition based upon your jpeg image files. Then, CPA will notify you. If your work is chosen for the exhibition you'll then have nearly four weeks notice to send the accepted and finished prints to CPA. We will hang all accepted prints as a part of the 3-month extended Juried Exhibition and once the show has been installed, the Juror will make a final determination regarding the three award winners, based upon your submitted finished prints. And finally, at the end of the exhibition CPA will offer all of the exhibited prints for sale at its annual Fundraising Auction in order to help raise needed funds for the Center's continued operation. And you'll be able to share in the proceeds of the auction sale of your print(s).
All photographers (whether or not you are currently a member of CPA) are eligible to enter, and all formats and photographic approaches (both conventional and digital) will be considered. If you are currently a member of CPA you may submit up to three (3) images at no charge. That's right, entry is FREE for CPA Members! If you are not currently a member of CPA, don't worry. Non-members may enter up to three (3) images for $38.00 and your entry fee will include a one-year regular membership to CPA. (Value: $38.00) And, any entrant may submit up to three (3) additional images at a cost of $10 each. No more than six (6) images (total) may be submitted by any entrant.
To enter, simply download the "Submissions Guidelines.pdf" and the "Entry Form.pdf" (see links located below). Follow the instructions provided in the Submissions Guidelines very carefully as entries can not be processed unless all instructions are followed.
